I'm Ryan Jaiswal at Distinct Recruitment. I'm hiring a senior general liability defense attorney in Boca Raton for an insurance defense firm that wants experienced lawyers to lead, not just bill. What you'd own• A docket of significant general liability matters: premises, negligent security, products and catastrophic injury claims• First chair trial work• Supervising and mentoring associates on your files• Direct relationships with carrier clients and their claims leaders• Input on case strategy across the team, not just on your own cases
The basics• Florida Bar membership• Substantial general liability defense experience. The formal floor is 2+ years, but this role is pitched at attorneys with 8 or more years or counsel level experience• Trial experience• Hybrid in Boca Raton• 1,900 billable hours
Pay$125,000 to $200,000, and the range is wide on purpose. Senior attorneys are paid toward the top, and if your experience warrants it, I'll make that case for you.
PartnershipA realistic, openly discussed path to partner. Lawyers at your stage deserve a straight answer about timing and criteria, and the firm is prepared to give one. A book of business helps, but it isn't a requirement for this role.
