Clearance: Active Top Secret required, with the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance(an active Q is a plus)Schedule: Front-half swing shift, Sunday–Wednesday, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (4x10s)
About the RoleWe're looking for a SOC Analyst I to join a security operations team supporting a federal Department of Energy mission. You'll monitor security systems, triage alerts, investigate incidents, and work with other teams to contain and eradicate threats. This role is a good fit for someone with a solid foundation in network and system security who wants to grow in a cleared SOC environment.
Responsibilities• Monitor security systems and triage alerts• Investigate security incidents and determine their scope• Coordinate with other teams to contain and eradicate threats• Conduct post-incident analysis and write reports• Maintain close attention to detail across security operations
Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree• 1+ year of experience in security operations or a related cybersecurity role• Strong understanding of network and system security concepts xzbcwsv • Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and platforms• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Attention to detail in a high-pressure environment• Active Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance
Preferred Skills• Cybersecurity incident response experience• Knowledge of government security protocols• Familiarity with enterprise security monitoring tools
