Role Description The Employment Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Franklin, TN. This role involves meeting with job seekers to understand their skills, career goals, and employment needs, and matching them with appropriate job opportunities. The Employment Specialist will conduct interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications, and coordinate placements with client companies. Daily tasks include maintaining candidate and client records, following up on assignments, and ensuring a positive experience for both job seekers and employers. The role also includes supporting recruitment campaigns, assisting with onboarding and basic training, and collaborating with the internal team to meet placement and service goals.
The Employment Specialist will also work directly with the Sales Manager to follow up with companies hiring, perform inside sales, and call clients/prospects about prospective candidates.
QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and effective presentation abilities.Candidates should possess Interviewing and Recruiting skills to assess candidate fit, source talent, and build pipelines for various positions.Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to support job seekers and employers, handle inquiries, and resolve concerns professionally.Candidates should possess Training skills to assist with basic onboarding, orientation, and guidance for placed employees.Strong phone sales experience is a plusStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple placements and deadlines.Proficiency with office software and applicant tracking or CRM systems.Experience in staffing, human resources, or related fields is preferred but not required. xzbcwsv High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, HR, or related areas is a plus.
