Job Summary:

The Accounts Manager will oversee the daily financial operations of Shyamoli Paribahan. This includes managing cash flow from ticket sales, monitoring operational expenses (fuel, tolls, and maintenance), and ensuring full compliance with national tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue & Cash Management

• Supervise the reconciliation of daily ticket sales from various counters and online platforms.
• Monitor cash inflows and ensure timely deposits into company bank accounts.
• Manage "Waybill" accounting—verifying trip-wise income against fuel and staff allowance expenditures.

2. Expenditure & Fleet Accounting

• Oversee payments for fleet-related costs: fuel procurement, spare parts, and workshop repairs.
• Maintain an asset register for the fleet, calculating annual depreciation for each bus.
• Manage vendor accounts and ensure timely payments to suppliers.

3. Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
• Handle VAT and Tax filings in accordance with local government regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for year-end reviews.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Masters in Accounting/Finance or MBA. Professional certifications (CA-CC, CMA, or ACCA) are highly preferred.

Experience: 5+ years as a manager for handling the accounts along with team handling experience.

Software: Proficiency in Tally Prime, SAP, or custom Transport Management Systems (TMS).

Analytical Skill: Ability to perform "Route Cost Analysis" to determine the profitability of specific bus routes.

• Integrity: High level of ethics, as the role involves managing high volumes of liquid cash.
