WE’RE HIRING | JUNIOR ARCHITECT

Architectural Lighting & Design | Chennai

KRAF Illumination is looking for a smart, design-oriented Junior Architect to join our growing team.

At KRAF, we believe light is an integral part of architecture. Through our Experience Centre and project work, we collaborate with architects and designers to create lighting solutions that enhance spaces and bring design intent to life.

THE ROLE

You will work closely with our in-house lighting design team and gain hands-on exposure to architectural lighting, live projects and client interactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with lighting concepts, layouts, fixture selection and project documentation

• Understanding architectural drawings and translating design intent into lighting solutions

• Working alongside architects, interior designers and clients on projects

• Interacting with and assisting architects visiting the KRAF Experience Centre

• Supporting presentations, specifications and site coordination

• Developing knowledge of beam angles, CCT, CRI, glare, optics and lighting applications

WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• B.Arch / M.Arch with 0–2 years of experience

• Strong interest in architecture, interiors and lighting

• Good communication and presentation skills

• A sharp eye for design, detail and aesthetics

• Proactive, curious and willing to learn

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• Knowledge of DIALux / Relux or other lighting software is a plus
