We’re looking for a dependable and compassionate Food Service Aide/ Cook to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide personal care and support that helps residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.

Schedule Requirement: This position requires full open availability, including weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on operational needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and serve high-quality meals, baked goods, and special diets while following recipes and production schedules.

• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards, including temperature monitoring and proper food handling.

• Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and stocking food and supplies.

• Support meal service, special events, and kitchen operations, including setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.

• Collaborate with the culinary team to provide excellent service and support departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

• Minimum 2 years of quantity cooking experience required

• Experience preparing therapeutic or special diets preferred

• Healthcare, senior living, or institutional food service experience strongly preferred

• Ability to read recipes, follow written/verbal instructions, and perform recipe-related calculations

• Leadership skills and/or experience directing team members preferred

• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

• Dependable attendance and punctuality

• Professionalism, sound judgment, and respect for confidentiality
