Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant

We are seeking an 8+ years experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Learning , Talent Management , and Core HR modules. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud, a strong understanding of end-to-end HR business processes, and hands-on experience configuring workflows, security roles, and security profiles.

Oracle Learning Cloud expertise is a mandatory requirement , along with experience in Talent Management and Core HR. The successful candidate will partner with HR stakeholders to deliver scalable, sustainable Oracle HCM solutions while ensuring alignment with business processes and system best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle HCM Cloud, with primary focus on: Oracle Learning Cloud (Mandatory), Talent Management,Core HR
• Partner with HR teams, HRBPs, Talent, Learning, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Oracle HCM solutions.
• Configure and support Oracle HCM business processes, ensuring system functionality aligns with business needs and Oracle best practices.
• Lead functional design discussions and provide recommendations to drive process standardization, data quality, and long-term sustainability.
• Perform impact assessments for Oracle quarterly releases and identify potential impacts to business processes and configurations.
• Define, execute, and coordinate functional testing, UAT, and regression testing activities with stakeholders.
• Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of functional issues across HCM modules.
• Collaborate with technical teams and vendors on enhancements, integrations, and defect resolutions.
• Review and validate reporting requirements and outputs using OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP).
• Support Oracle Redwood adoption and transition initiatives where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Expertise (Mandatory)

• Strong hands-on functional experience in: Oracle Learning Cloud (Must Have), Talent Management, and Core HR.
• Deep understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud architecture, module interdependencies, and end-to-end HR process flows.
• Proven experience supporting Oracle HCM implementations, enhancements, and ongoing production support.

Security & Workflow Expertise (Mandatory)

• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining: Security Roles, Data Roles, and Security Profiles
• Strong understanding of Oracle HCM security framework and role-based access controls.
• Experience configuring and supporting: Approval Workflows, Transaction approvals,and Notification framework
• Workflow troubleshooting and optimization

Additional Requirements

• Experience with Oracle Journeys.
• Exposure to Redwood user experience and transition activities.
• Experience supporting Oracle quarterly releases, feature reviews, and impact assessments.
• Working knowledge of OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP) reporting from a business requirements, validation, and testing perspective.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently gather requirements, challenge non-standard requests, and recommend scalable Oracle solutions.
