Proposal Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Proposal Engineer to the preparation of technically sound, competitive, and commercially viable proposals. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal engineering, procurement, and project management teams, as well as external stakeholders, ensuring proposals meet all client specifications, risk criteria, and submission deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Formulate bid preparation strategies and resource planning to ensure high-quality, competitive submissions.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, PMD, and business unit heads to gather inputs and cost estimates.
• Identify bid-level risks and build contractual safeguards to mitigate long-term organizational liability.
• Compile and finalize complete proposal documentation aligned with ITB (Invitation to Bid) guidelines and company standards.
• Hand over finalized bids to the Business Development team within stipulated timelines.
• Assist the Head of Department with proposal budgeting, variance tracking, and overall department targets.
• Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies as required during the proposal lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical).
• Preferably 3–5 years of overall professional experience, with prior experience in engineering design within the Oil & Gas / EPC sector
• Computer Proficiency: Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
