About the Role

Purple Shell is looking for an execution-focused Interior Designer who can coordinate between clients, architects, designers, vendors, and site teams. This role requires strong technical understanding, regular follow-ups, quick decision-making, and the ability to convert design intent into practical and executable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate regularly with vendors and obtain timely updates on drawings, samples, approvals, production, procurement, and deliveries.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding design requirements, progress, approvals, changes, and execution-related matters.
• Review technical drawings received from architects, consultants, and interior designers.
• Verify dimensions, specifications, materials, construction details, and coordination requirements before drawings are released for execution.
• Assess whether proposed details are technically feasible and practical for on-site execution.
• Identify design conflicts, missing information, and execution risks at an early stage.
• Provide quick, practical, and cost-conscious solutions without compromising design intent or quality.
• Interpret architectural and interior drawings in detail and communicate requirements clearly to vendors and execution teams.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, drawing trackers, approval trackers, procurement timelines, and work plans.
• Understand BOQs and verify whether quantities, materials, specifications, and scope are aligned with the approved design and drawings.
• Coordinate revisions and ensure that the latest approved drawings are being followed at the site.
• Support the timely execution of projects while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of interior construction, materials, detailing, and execution methods.
• Ability to read, interpret, review, and coordinate detailed technical drawings.
• Working knowledge of BOQs, specifications, quantity coordination, and design-to-budget alignment.
• Ability to prepare and manage project schedules and follow-up trackers.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for dealing with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams.
• Practical problem-solving ability and confidence in providing quick execution-focused solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify technical discrepancies before execution.
• A proactive approach, strong follow-up discipline, and a clear focus on completing work quickly.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and perform effectively under tight timelines.
• Accountability, responsiveness, and a strong sense of ownership toward assigned projects.

Candidates should be technically sound, execution-oriented, and comfortable taking responsibility for coordination from the drawing stage through procurement and on-site implementation.
