Sales Representative

Job Description: About the Role We are looking for a friendly, confident and enthusiastic Salesperson to join our team. Forklift experience is not essential – full training will be provided. We prefer some sales experience in other fields. The most important thing for us is finding the right person. We are looking for someone who is bubbly, outgoing and enjoys speaking with people. You should be confident communicating with customers over the phone, by email and face to face. We want someone who is looking for a long-term career , is willing to learn and wants to develop within the forklift and material handling industry. Key Responsibilities Speak with customers regularly by phone, email and face to face. Sell forklifts and material handling equipment to customers in the UK and overseas. Build good relationships with existing and new customers. Respond to customer enquiries and follow up sales leads. Prepare quotations and follow up with customers. Learn about our forklifts, stock and different types of equipment. Look for new sales opportunities and potential customers. Work closely with our marketing, transport and workshop teams. Work towards sales targets and develop your own customer base. What We're Looking For A bubbly, outgoing and confident personality. Someone who genuinely enjoys talking to and dealing with people. Strong spoken and written English. Confident speaking on the phone. Enthusiastic, positive and willing to learn. Motivated to build a long-term career in sales. Good organisation and communication skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Previous sales, forklift or machinery experience would be useful, but is not essential .
