Legal Counsel

Our client, a major asset management company in New York City, is looking for an attorney with 4-7 years of employee benefits and executive compensation experience.

Responsibilities• Advise business partners on the commercial and legal aspects of compensation and benefits.• Draft, negotiate, and analyze compensation (cash and equity) and employee benefits plans and agreements.
Qualifications• A law degree and 4-7 years of experience in compensation and benefits at a law firm and/or in-house, including meaningful experience drafting complex executive compensation arrangements for investment management firms or other financial services businesses. xzbcwsv • Familiarity with employee benefits law (including ERISA and the Affordable Care Act) is preferred, given this role will involve meaningful day-to-day engagement with benefits matters.
Compensation Range: $250,000 to $275,000 plus bonus
