Position: Psychological Counsellor

Visit: A minimum of 3 hours is required for the visit once a week on every Wednesday. In case of any Wednesday is a holiday, the visit shall be on the immediate next Thursday.

Period: Academic Session 2026-27 (10 months).

Job description/profile:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychological Counsellor to provide mental health support to individuals facing emotional, behavioral, or psychological challenges. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for promoting mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and interviews.

• Provide individual, group counselling sessions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.

• Conduct workshops and awareness programs on mental health.

• Provides brief counselling to address social and emotional concerns and appropriately refers students to behavioural health specialists.

• Communicates, coordinates, and collaborates with behavioural health specialists on developing and implementing student supports.

Eligibility and experience:

• Master’s degree in Psychology (Counselling/Clinical).

• Certification in therapeutic techniques (CBT, REBT, etc.) preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of counselling experience.

• Excellent communication and empathy skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.

Remuneration: Rs. 5000 per sitting
