Director of Data Center Infrastructure Construction

We are partnering with a high-growth infrastructure business seeking an experienced leader to oversee the development and delivery of large-scale digital infrastructure projects.

This role will combine project delivery, commercial negotiation, technical coordination, and partner management across a growing portfolio of compute and mission-critical infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex digital infrastructure projects from early-stage site evaluation through construction, commissioning, and operational handover.
• Oversee site planning, electrical infrastructure, cooling, connectivity, civil works, and associated delivery requirements.
• Structure and negotiate commercial agreements with customers and strategic partners, including service levels, capacity commitments, delivery milestones, and performance terms.
• Select and manage key technology, equipment, engineering, and construction partners.
• Own project budgets, schedules, risk, quality, and delivery performance across the portfolio.
• Work closely with engineering and development teams on grid connection, metering, protection, energization, and site readiness.
• Provide clear reporting to senior leadership and ensure projects remain aligned with commercial and operational objectives.

Candidate Profile

• 7+ years of experience across data centers, digital infrastructure, mission-critical facilities, modular infrastructure, or other complex infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience taking projects from concept through construction, commissioning, and operation.
