About the Position

Our client is seeking a Class A or Class B CDL driver for a local, home-daily route in the Charleston area. This on-site position involves operating a flatbed truck equipped with a Moffett truck, making local deliveries, unloading freight, and assisting with warehouse duties as needed.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour
• Overtime: Available after 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Temp-to-perm

Job Details

• Route Type: Local, home daily

• Equipment: Moffett truck
• Handling: Some unloading required
• Additional Duties: Assist with warehouse operations as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed truck with Moffett equipment for local deliveries.
• Safely deliver freight throughout the Charleston area.
• Unload freight as required.
• Assist with warehouse operations when necessary.
• Follow all applicable transportation and workplace safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Ability to perform some unloading and warehouse-related duties.
