Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
Winner Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced 360 Grab Crane Operator to join a well-established metal recycling business in Sheffield.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in metal processing, machine operation or production who is looking for a long-term role with the potential to become permanent.
The Role Duties will include:
Operating a 360 grab crane to handle and move materials.
Sorting and segregating different types of metal.
Operating machinery within a metal processing facility.
Carrying out general production and site duties.
Occasionally operating an FLT counterbalance truck to move materials.
Following all health and safety procedures.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
Requirements The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience operating a 360 grab crane.
A valid 360 grab crane licence or relevant certification.
A valid FLT counterbalance licence.
Experience in metal recycling, production or machine operation.
A good eye for detail and a logical, practical approach to work.
The ability to work independently and use their own initiative.
A good understanding of health and safety.
The ability to undertake physical duties when required.
What We Offer £15.25 per hour starting pay rate.
Full-time, day-shift hours.
Monday to Friday working pattern.
Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
