About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and well-connected legal professional to take ownership of Manupatra Academy and help expand its reach, engagement, and offerings within the legal education ecosystem.

The role involves end-to-end coordination of webinars and learning initiatives, engagement with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), freelancers and external partners, market research, competitor mapping, and identifying new opportunities to grow Manupatra Academy.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, an understanding of the legal ecosystem, and the ability to independently drive initiatives from idea to execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations and initiatives of Manupatra Academy .
• Plan and coordinate webinars, workshops, training sessions, certification programs and other learning initiatives .
• Identify, approach and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts, lawyers, academicians, industry professionals and other speakers for webinars and programs.
• Manage relationships and coordination with freelancers, trainers, content contributors and external partners .
• Coordinate end-to-end execution of sessions including speaker coordination, scheduling, communication, content requirements and post-event follow-ups.
• Build and maintain a network of legal professionals, academicians, law firms, institutions and industry experts .
• Conduct market research to understand trends in legal education, professional training and upskilling.
• Regularly map competitors , their offerings, programs, pricing, partnerships and engagement strategies.
• Identify gaps and opportunities in the market and suggest new courses, webinars, formats, partnerships and initiatives for Manupatra Academy.
• Explore innovative ideas to increase Academy participation, reach and engagement among law students, lawyers and legal professionals.
• Track and analyse participation, engagement and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with internal Content, Marketing, Product and Business Development teams for execution of Academy initiatives.
• Maintain databases of speakers, SMEs, trainers, institutions, freelancers and potential partners.
• Support outreach to law colleges, universities, law firms, corporates and legal professionals for Academy initiatives.
• Take ownership of projects and ensure timely execution with minimal supervision.

What We’re Looking For

• LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. / B.B.A. LL.B. from a reputed law college/university .
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in legal education, legal content, partnerships, events, community building, business development, training or a similar role. Candidates with more experience are also welcome.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills .
• Confident in interacting with senior lawyers, academicians, industry professionals and external stakeholders.
• Strong coordination and relationship-management skills .
• Good understanding of the legal education and professional legal ecosystem .
• Ability to conduct research, understand market trends and translate insights into actionable ideas.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of initiatives.
• Strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace .
