Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Senior Support ETL Developer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor and support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) production jobs, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our data integration and transformation processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will also be responsible for implementing minor enhancements to existing jobs and the development of new ETL processes. The role requires availability to work in shifts for 24x7 coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily ETL production jobs to ensure successful completion and data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes, including job failures, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes and enhancements to ETL jobs.
• Maintain and update ETL job schedules and configurations as needed.
• Generate and distribute information on active ETL job performance and status.
• Provide on-call support for critical production issues outside of regular business hours.
• Document and maintain standard operating procedures for ETL production support activities.
• Implement minor enhancements to improve ETL processes and performance.
• Work with both structured and semi-structured databases (e.g.,SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB) to support data integration tasks.
• Work in shifts to provide 24x7 coverage for ETL production support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in ETL production support or a similar role.
• Proficiency with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Understanding of semi-structured databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with JSON data format.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with monitoring tools and job scheduling is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
• Experience with cloud-based ETL solutions (e.g., Azure Data Factory).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
