Senior Controller – US Real Estate / Property Management

Oversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple US property-holding LLCs and management entities . Manage accounting for approximately 60 single-family homes, 14–15 commercial properties and 75 tenants . Work with multiple LLCs and maintain accurate property-level financial records. Perform and review bank reconciliations, financial statements, cash-flow reporting and expense coding . Handle approximately 1,600 expense/accounting codes per month with strong attention to detail. Perform and review CAM reconciliations and property-related financial activities. Work across PropertyWare and QuickBooks environments. Coordinate accounting across property-holding entities, management companies and vacation-rental entities. Provide meaningful financial analysis and insights to management . Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, security and reporting. Assist with personal financial accounting and balance-sheet/bill management where required. Review existing processes and recommend improvements rather than simply following legacy procedures. Coordinate with the Account Manager and escalate critical matters to senior management. Initially operate without payment authority; scope may expand to cash management and payment controls based on performance and client confidence.
