What you'll bring5+ years of litigation experience in Florida state and federal courts.Admission to practice law in Florida.Demonstrated experience with depositions and trial preparation.Exceptional legal writing, strong research skills, and solid command of procedure.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes matters.Arbitration experience, including substantive briefing, is a plus.
What you'll doAdvise clients and draft persuasive motions, pleadings, briefs, and contracts.Research legal issues using LexisNexis and Westlaw to develop case strategy and address procedural requirements.Prepare for and participate in depositions, court proceedings, hearings, and trials.Negotiate settlements and represent clients in litigation and alternative dispute resolution.Manage deadlines, case files, and litigation records using case management systems.Keep clients informed while exercising sound judgment and protecting confidentiality.
