We are seeking an experienced SAP Workflow Consultant/Developer to join a project on a freelance basis. This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates based in India who can support European business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Design and Development
Design, develop, and implement SAP Business Workflows and Flexible Workflows.
Gather and translate business requirements into scalable workflow solutions.
Configure workflow templates, tasks, events, rules, and approval processes.
Develop approval workflows across Procurement, Finance, HR, Master Data, and custom business processes.
Integrate workflows with SAP standard functionality and custom-developed applications.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing workflow solutions.
Technical Development
Develop and maintain workflow-related objects using:
ABAP
Object-Oriented ABAP
SAP Business Workflow
Business Object Repository (BOR)
SAP Flexible Workflow Framework
SAP Fiori / My Inbox Applications
Create, configure, and maintain:
Workflow Templates
Tasks
Rules
Events
Organizational Management Structures
User Exits
BADIs
Required Skills and Experience
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Workflow and Flexible Workflow.
Solid ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP development skills.
Experience working with BOR, events, tasks, and workflow troubleshooting.
Exposure to SAP Fiori and My Inbox workflow applications.
Experience developing and supporting approval workflows in SAP environments.
Strong understanding of SAP integration and business process automation.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Candidate Requirements
Based in India.
Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Available to support EU business hours.
Able to start immediately or at short notice.
Previous freelance/contract consulting experience is highly desirable.
