Role Description The Career Counselor will support students in planning and pursuing careers in Animation, Game Design, VFX, and Multimedia. This full-time, on-site role is based in Navi Mumbai. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, guiding students on career pathways and specialization choices, and helping them set realistic short- and long-term career goals. The Career Counselor will organize career guidance workshops, portfolio review sessions, and job readiness training, while coordinating with faculty and industry partners to share internship and placement opportunities. The role also involves maintaining accurate student records, tracking career progress, and providing continuous support to improve employability and professional confidence.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Career Counseling and Student Counseling to guide learners effectively through their education and career decisions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Career Development and Career Management to help students create career plans, build portfolios, and prepare for internships and job roles.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to explain complex information in a simple, encouraging manner.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Human Resources, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience working with students or early-career professionals, preferably in creative or media disciplines, and familiarity with animation, game design, VFX, or multimedia career paths is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, industry partners, and administrative teams are desirable.
- Organizational and documentation skills, including the ability to manage multiple student cases and maintain confidential records, are beneficial.
