JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a Verification Engineer in St. Petersburg, FL. This person will be responsible for doing test fixture design and creating test procedures, developing drawing packages. This role works closely with mechanical, electrical, systems, and quality engineering teams to verify that products meet design requirements, performance expectations, and reliability objectives prior to transfer into manufacturing. Other responsibilities include, writing test protocols and running test procedures, and data analysis.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering - 5+ years experience with Mechanical Design - 1 year experience creating test fixtures for product development or verification. - 2 years experience creating test procedures (not just following procedures). - Ability to analyze data and communicate results effectively. - Understanding of requirements management, defect tracking, and test methodologies for design projects. - Strong fundamental understanding of regulated product development industry (medical device, aviation, etc.) - Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. - Experience working with laboratory equipment, measurement tools, and test instrumentation.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Medical device industry experience strongly preferred - Understanding of requirements management, defect tracking, and test methodologies for design projects. - Strong fundamental understanding of regulated product development industry (medical device, aviation, etc.) - Working knowledge of the documentation and approvals process in regulated R&D.
