Role Overview

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will design and deliver exceptional food and hospitality experiences for employees. Beyond managing day-to-day cafeteria and pantry operations, you will play a key role in driving employee engagement initiatives through food, celebrations, wellness programs, themed events, and workplace hospitality.


This role requires someone who can combine operational excellence with creativity, stakeholder management, and a passion for creating memorable employee experiences.




Key Responsibilities:


Operations & Service Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end cafeteria, pantry, beverage, and catering operations across the office.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, beverages, and hospitality services.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and service.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company SOPs and food safety standards.


Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with food service providers, caterers, pantry vendors, and facility partners.
  • Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and vendor performance through periodic reviews.
  • Coordinate with Procurement for vendor onboarding, contract renewals, and commercial discussions.
  • Work closely with Workplace and Administration teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.


Employee Experience

  • Continuously improve the dining experience based on employee feedback and engagement surveys.
  • Curate & plan seasonal menus, wellness initiatives, themed food festivals, and special events.
  • Ensure availability of diverse meal options catering to different dietary preferences and cultural needs.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve operational issues in a timely manner


Budget & Cost Management

  • Manage operational budgets for food and beverage services.
  • Monitor food costs, consumption trends, wastage, and inventory utilization.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization without compromising quality.


Compliance & Food Safety

  • Ensure adherence to FSSAI guidelines and all applicable food safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations.
  • Conduct periodic vendor compliance audits and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal practices for food and beverages
  • Conduct and organise training on food safety for food handlers from time to time


Reporting & Analytics

  • Track key operational metrics including cafeteria utilization, vendor performance, employee satisfaction, and budget adherence.
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports and present operational insights and improvement recommendations to leadership.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of Food & Beverage experience in top hotels or managing corporate food & beverage operations, premium cafeterias, hospitality, or facility management environments.
  • Experience managing outsourced vendors and service partners is essential.


Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of food safety standards, FSSAI regulations, and workplace hospitality practices.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
