Nurse – Visit, Multi-Specialty OPD Clinic

Location: Kadubeesanahalli, Bangalore

Role Purpose

Deliver disciplined, protocol-driven clinical assistance across outpatient services, ensuring digital vitals capture, paperless EMR documentation, seamless procedure support, infection control, and high-quality patient experience in a fast-paced multi-specialty clinic environment.

Core Responsibilities

1. Clinical Preparation & Digital Documentation

• Capture and record vitals (BP, pulse, temperature, SpO₂, weight, BMI) digitally in EMR before each consultation.
• Enter structured clinical history pointers directly into the clinic’s paperless EMR system .
• Ensure 100% accuracy and completeness in all digital entries.
• Maintain electronic task checklists for nursing workflows.

2. Procedure Assistance

• Assist doctors during minor procedures including dressings, injections, nebulization, wound care, and basic emergency support.
• Anticipate doctor requirements to prevent delays.

3. Procedure Room & Sterilization Readiness

• Prepare and maintain sterile trays and instruments.
• Follow autoclaving and sterilization protocols strictly.
• Maintain digital logs for tray readiness and equipment checks.

4. Consent & Pre-Procedure Protocol

• Verify informed consent in the EMR prior to procedures.
• Conduct pre-procedure checks and escalate deviations to the doctor or Center Manager.
• Ensure all pre-procedure documentation is digitally captured for compliance.

5. Infection Control & Biomedical Waste

• Maintain strict biomedical waste segregation and infection-control protocols.
• Support digital audit trails for compliance reporting.

6. Patient Education & Care Continuity

• Educate patients on post-consult instructions, medications, and follow-up schedules.
• Document all instructions and reminders digitally to maintain paperless patient records .

7. Digital EMR & Workflow Support

• Ensure all vitals, procedure notes, and patient interactions are entered into EMR in real time .
• Support the clinic’s paperless operational model , reducing reliance on physical forms.
• Collaborate with IT and clinic management to optimize EMR usability and efficiency.

• Procedure Readiness: Zero consult delays due to nursing gaps
• Infection Control Compliance: Zero audit non-conformities
• Patient Satisfaction (Nursing Touchpoints): Above clinic benchmark
• Paperless Workflow Compliance: 100% of patient records digitally maintained

Experience & Qualifications

• BSc Nursing / GNM (mandatory).
• 2–6 years in OPD, day-care, or multi-specialty clinic settings preferred.
• Experience with digital EMR systems and paperless workflows is an advantage.

About the Network

We are building a premium urban, multi-specialty clinic network in Bangalore, with each centre hosting ~10–15 doctors across fixed and visiting specialties. The model emphasizes efficiency, digital workflows, infection control, and an elevated patient experience .
