The main areas you’ll work with:
Tech packs and specifications: Creating and maintaining tech packs, flat sketches and specification sheets, keeping every detail accurate and up to date.Sourcing support: Assisting with fabric and trim sourcing, and building and updating sample trackers so the team always knows where each development stands.CAD and presentation assets: Preparing CAD drawings and presentation materials for internal reviews and supplier communication.Colour and material direction: Contributing to colour and material boards that shape the direction of each collection.Fittings: Attending fittings and documenting corrections and changes clearly for the design team and suppliers.
Skills you’ll have:Experience: Some prior experience in a development, design or production support role, whether through an internship, freelance work or a student placement.Tools: Confidence in Adobe Illustrator is essential. Familiarity with Photoshop and basic spreadsheet tools is expected.Technical curiosity: A genuine interest in how clothes are made, not just how they look, and an understanding that the craft behind a piece matters as much as its appearance.Precision and organisation: A sharp eye for detail and pride in getting the work exactly right, with the ability to keep trackers and documents organised across several developments at once.Communication: Comfortable asking questions, open to feedback, and ready to contribute rather than simply observe.
Location: Based in New York and available to work from our SoHo HQ 2 days a week. xzbcwsv To apply: Send your CV, a brief cover note and a portfolio or relevant work samples to with the subject line “Development Intern – Winter 2026”. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
