OVERVIEWInsight Global is seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC & Facilities Maintenance Mechanic to join a large hospital group in Mesa, AZ. Under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, this individual performs inspection, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, evaporative coolers, exhaust fans, and ventilation equipment. They will conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure optimal efficiency of all heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. This work requires proficiency across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, sheet metal, refrigeration, cooling tower maintenance, and tower water treatment.
Responsibilities Include:Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs the mechanical aspect of HVAC systems and equipment applies those theories and practices to maintain and repair associated HVAC equipment.Repairs, maintains and troubleshoots HVAC systems and building management systems using control theory and practice.Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot and manipulate building automation system. Conducts audits of system performance and makes adjustments to maintain an efficient operating systemPerforms assigned tasks with high quality workmanship by performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.Completes assigned tasks and communicates properly utilizing verbal and written skills
QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GEDFour (4) years of experience in installation repair and maintenance of small and large capacity commercial type of HVAC equipment. This includes air conditioning, evaporative cooling, exhaust and ventilation equipmentTrade school education with specialized training in HVACEPA universal refrigeration.
Compensation: $25/hr. - $35/hr. Exact compensation may depend on individual experience, skills, and education.
