Job Description
VCA Loomis Basin is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician Assistant to play a vital role in delivering a high level of patient care for our night shift team.
VCA Loomis Basin is an AAHA-accredited, 24/7 hospital that offers Emergency, General Practice, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, and Specialty Surgery. Duties Include:
- Patient Care: walking, ensuring access to clean water, and clean housing
- Assisting the Veterinary Technicians & Assistants with administering fluids, patient restraint, and other basic tasks
- Restraint for Radiographer
- Cleaning patient spaces and kennels
- Cleaning and packing instruments
- Stocking hospital departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Laundry for hospital to ensure towels, blankets and bedding are available when needed
