Interior Designer

Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on-site in Hyderabad, developing design concepts and detailed plans for residential and/or commercial interiors. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, preparing drawings and presentations, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and ensuring design solutions align with VITTI Living's focus on mindful, sustainable living. The role involves meeting with clients to understand their requirements, translating those needs into cohesive design proposals, and collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle. The Interior Designer will also oversee project execution to ensure quality, adherence to timelines, and consistency with approved designs.
Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development and styling, with the ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
• Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals to create practical, user-centered layouts.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and documentation for execution on site.
• Knowledge of FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Ability to use design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, or similar tools).
• Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines on site.
• Interest or experience in sustainable design practices and material selection is an advantage.
