Steering– Racks/Ceps/Reps/Pinion

Primary Responsibilities Project customer requirements into BOM, drawings, specifications, DFMEA etc. Design and develop steering column products that adhere to industry best practices and as per customer requirements. Design the steering column product keeping manufacturing and cost competitiveness balance. Review & release the Child parts, Sub-Assembly & Saleable assembly design Collaborate with the Quality, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams to ensure that designs meet requirements. Mitigate the potential risks via design upgrade through cross functional team including customer, internal team members and suppliers. Lead problem solving / root cause analysis. Develop and maintain DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) for all released products. Clear understanding on Validatio
