Ninety-one miles is the longest round trip you will run on this Chicago-area Target fleet, and every shift ends with you back home. You pull at least 2 loads a day on local routes, and the work includes night driving.
Most of the freight is drop-and-hook, about 95%, so your time is spent driving rather than waiting at the dock. The other 5% calls for a pallet jack, and that unloading is paid.
Daily Routes:
~ Local routes in the Chicago, IL area
~ Longest round trip is 91 miles
~ Minimum of 2 loads per day
~95% drop-and-hook freight
~5% pallet jack unloading, paid
~ Night driving required
Schedule and Pay:
~ Home daily
~6-day work week followed by a 34-hour reset
~ Opportunity for set days off in the future
~ Mileage pay (CPM)
~ Bonus opportunities
Equipment:
~ Top-of-the-line trucks with automatic transmissions
~53' trailers
~ Part of one of the newest fleets in the country
Requirements:
~ Valid Class A CDL
~21 years of age or older
~3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience
~ Reliable transportation to commute to and from work
