About the Role :

As the Senior Manager – Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day functioning across clusters, scaling new hoods, and building a strong supply base while maintaining world-class service standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead in a high-growth, category-creating startup and deliver real impact on both business scale and customer experience.

Responsibilities :

Operational Leadership

  • Lead and manage a multi-layered team of Regional Cluster Manager (RCLMs) and Cluster Manager (CLMs) to ensure end-to-end operational excellence.
  • Build a strong execution framework for daily city operations including booking loss reduction, Estimated Order Bridge (EOB) tracking, utilization monitoring, de-allocation control, and issue resolution.

Scaling New Markets

  • Drive cluster and hood launches by ensuring readiness across manpower, training, logistics, and on-ground execution.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless rollout and scalability of new Zones.

People & Supply Management

  • Own the performance management, and retention of service experts at hood and cluster levels.
  • Implement robust attrition control mechanisms and foster a culture of accountability, agility, and ownership among teams.

Process Excellence & Metrics

  • Track and manage critical operational KPIs (TAT, utilization, supply-demand match, service quality, and customer satisfaction).
  • Identify gaps and implement process improvements, automation, and SOP standardization to drive efficiency and scalability.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with central operations, product, and leadership teams to align on priorities, resolve bottlenecks, and deliver consistent customer experiences.
  • Provide weekly business reviews with insights, risks, and action plans to drive city-level operational success.

Qualifications :

  • 6–10 years of experience in city/cluster operations, logistics, or last-mile delivery. Startup or hyper-growth environment exposure is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record of leading large, multi-layered teams and driving outcomes in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance short-term firefighting and long-term process building.
  • Data-driven mindset with expertise in using dashboards, metrics, and analytics to monitor performance and drive improvements.
  • High energy, ownership mindset, agility, and resilience to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving startup ecosystem.

Required Skills :

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with operational metrics and KPIs.
