Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide assessment and intervention for children with developmental, sensory, motor, and functional challenges in an on-site setting in Bengaluru. This full-time role includes conducting detailed evaluations, designing individualized therapy plans, and delivering one-on-one or group sessions to support daily living skills, school readiness, and overall functional independence. The therapist will collaborate closely with caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, goal-oriented treatment plans. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, tracking progress, and contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions. The role may involve participation in parent training, community outreach, and continuous improvement of therapy protocols aligned with current best practices.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized intervention plans.
  • Knowledge of Pediatrics and child development to address a broad range of developmental and functional needs in children.
  • Understanding of Medicine and related healthcare principles to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary clinical team.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to children, families, and colleagues.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; relevant registration or licensure as required by local regulations.
  • Experience working with children in clinical, school, or community settings is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and adapt interventions to diverse family contexts.
  • Strong organizational skills, professional ethics, and commitment to evidence-based, child-centered care.
