As400 support engineer trainee

Systems Plus is hiring for an AS400 Support Engineer Trainee,
Exp : 6 month to 1 yr.
Location : Pune - Hybrid work model.
Monitor AS400 jobs and system alerts, ensuring timely acknowledgment and basic troubleshooting.
Provide first-line support for incidents, service requests, and alerts related to Retail, ERP and Infrastructure systems, user access, and job failures.
Coordinate with end users and IT teams to gather issue details, provide updates, and ensure timely resolution.
Experience in using basic AS400 commands and managing batch processes within the AS400 environment
Follow defined escalation procedures, escalating unresolved or critical issues to Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 teams.
Log, track, and update tickets in the ITSM/ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation.
Provide on-call support for priority incidents and urgent system issues as required.
Work in a 24x7 environment, ensuring flexibility for night shifts and weekend support.
Participate in knowledge-sharing and training programs to build expertise in ERP support.
Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring prompt and professional responses to end users.
