About MockinsMockins is a fast-growing automotive e-commerce brand based in Brooklyn, NY. We design innovative products for car enthusiasts and adventure seekers. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated Social Media Manager to grow our social platforms.
Position OverviewWe're seeking a creative, resourceful Social Media Manager to own our day-to-day social media presence, creating and editing content, coordinating influencer outreach, and spotting new opportunities to grow our audience, while working closely with our design and ecommerce teams to align social strategy with sales goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and FacebookCreate, edit, and prepare content (images, videos, captions) in partnership with the design teamUpload and schedule posts, maintain publishing calendars, and ensure consistent, on-brand postingResearch, contact, and manage relationships with influencers and creators for UGC and partnershipsAlign social content with product launches, promotions, and sales goals with the ecommerce teamMonitor trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to spot growth opportunitiesTroubleshoot content, campaign, and scheduling challenges independently
QualificationsGenuine enthusiasm for social platforms, trends, and building brand presenceKeen eye for aesthetics, storytelling, and spotting new angles or opportunitiesComfortable navigating ambiguity and problem-solving independentlyBasic content editing experience (Canva, CapCut, or Premiere Pro a bonus)Strong, professional communication for cross-team and influencer outreachOrganized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesAdobe Creative Suite and/or influencer marketing experience a plus
