Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Punjabi Political Writer with a strong understanding of Punjab's political landscape, current affairs, and public sentiment. The ideal candidate should be able to create impactful, persuasive, and engaging political content in Punjabi (Gurmukhi) while ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and alignment with campaign objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Write speeches, political scripts, campaign content, and public addresses in Punjabi.

Draft press releases, statements, opinion pieces, manifestos, and policy-related content.

Create compelling content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, and WhatsApp campaigns.

Develop political messaging and narratives aligned with campaign objectives.

Translate and adapt political content from English and Hindi into natural, impactful Punjabi.

Research political developments, public opinion, and current affairs in Punjab.

Work closely with campaign strategists, communication teams, and digital marketing teams.

Prepare content for rallies, public meetings, interviews, debates, and media interactions.

Ensure all content is factually accurate, grammatically correct, and culturally appropriate.

Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and campaign branding across all communication channels.

Required Skills

Excellent written proficiency in Punjabi (Gurmukhi).

Strong knowledge of Punjab politics, governance, elections, and current affairs.

Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.

Ability to simplify complex political and policy-related topics into engaging content.

Strong research and analytical skills.

Creativity with attention to detail.

Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced campaign environment.

Preferred Experience

Experience in political campaigns, political consulting, public affairs, journalism, media, or digital communications.

Prior experience writing speeches, campaign content, or political communication material.

Experience creating content for both traditional and digital media platforms.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Political Science, Punjabi Literature, Public Relations, English, or a related field.

Relevant writing portfolio in Punjabi is highly preferred.
