We're Hiring: Project Manager (Shopify / E-commerce)

ABOUT VALAR ECOM

 We're a 35+ person Shopify agency in Pune building for high-growth DTC brands across the UK and US — subscription brands, personal care, home and garden, health. Shopify Plus builds, CRO, subscription infrastructure, retention, and multi-store international expansion. Our clients are established brands doing real volume, and the work ships fast.

ABOUT THE ROLE

 We're looking for a Project Manager to own delivery end to end and keep clients and internal teams moving in sync. You'll be the person our clients trust and our team relies on to clear the path.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING

A typical month might include:

▸ Running the delivery of a Shopify Plus theme build — scoping with the client, breaking it into sprints, keeping design, dev, and QA aligned to the launch date

 ▸ Managing a US store launch for a UK brand: currency, tax, shipping, content, and a cutover plan with zero downtime

 ▸ Coordinating an A/B testing roadmap — briefing the team, tracking what's live, reporting results back to the client

 ▸ Running weekly client calls: what shipped, what's next, what's blocked, and what it means for the timeline

 ▸ Scoping change requests and pushing back when something is out of scope, without making it a fight

 ▸ Owning QA sign-off before anything goes live — you're the last check, not the first draft

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

▸2+ years managing digital or e-commerce projects

▸ Working knowledge of Shopify (or the appetite to get there fast)

▸ Strong client communication — you can hold a call with a founder and leave them confident

▸ Comfortable with Agile workflows and PM tools

▸ Able to run multiple projects at once without dropping threads

▸ Clear written English — most client communication is async

We care about what you've delivered, not where you studied. No specific degree required.

NICE TO HAVE (not required)

＋ Agency-side experience — you know what juggling six clients feels like

 ＋ Exposure to Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Recharge, or SKIO

 ＋ Familiarity with CRO and A/B testing concepts

 ＋ Experience working with UK or US clients across time zones

 ＋ Hands-on with ClickUp, Jira, Asana, or Notion

 ＋ Agile / Scrum
