Assistant Professor in Data Science in the Department of Natural and Applied Sciences Last Date to Apply: Sept 10, 2026 Advertisement No: TSAS/ACAD/2026/24 The University invites applications from highly motivated and qualified candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The selected candidate is expected to contribute towards inter-disciplinary teaching, research, curriculum development, and academic administration. Number of Post: 1 (One) Regular Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor: i. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) ii. National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission Desirable Qualification for Assistant Professor: • Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering/Technology or allied areas relevant to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. • M. Tech./M.Sc. in relevant discipline with strong background in programming, mathematics, statistics, and machine learning. • Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Computer Science is desirable.
