b Overview /b p As Technical Architect/Consultant, you will shape the architecture and infrastructure of a leading data management platform for the securities and investment management industry. You’ll work with clients and internal teams on architecture, performance, and production issues, with a focus on scaling for higher data volumes and throughput. The role blends advisory input to product development with hands-on implementation and on-site audits. You will engage with cross-functional teams to adopt new technologies and optimize resources, in a globally distributed setting. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li bonus /li li great holiday /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Client-facing technical consulting during integration with the implementation team /li li Advise on infrastructure best practices and resource allocation /li li Provide architectural guidance during project implementation /li li Address production performance and infrastructure issues /li li Conduct onsite technical audits for optimal configurations /li li Support Sales, Pre-Sales, Operations, and PSG with architectural expertise /li li Influence product design and customization based on client implementations /li li Keep up-to-date with new technologies and adoptions /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li In-depth experience with multiple application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, WildFly) /li li Strong Java understanding and monitoring/profiling tools /li li Experience with large-scale software designs including cloud-based architectures /li li Working knowledge of Spring and Hibernate /li li 6+ years in performance tuning at application and database levels /li li Experience with software security models (JAAS, SAML, Kerberos) /li li Understanding of Linux resources, VM’s and Docker /li li Proficiency in Oracle database tuning and SQL including AWR analyses /li li Expertise in Hadoop/HDFS infrastructure architecture /li /ul ul li Client-facing communication /li li Cross-functional collaboration /li li Problem solving under high-severity production issues /li li Java performance tuning /li li Spring /li li Hibernate /li /ul
