Luxury Boutique Operations Associate

Our client, a luxury fashion house, is seeking a temporary, part-time Stock Support Associate to join the team at a luxury retail concession in Chicago, IL (onsite). This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented retail professional with strong back-of-house experience who enjoys supporting both store operations and the client experience.

This is a temporary part-time position beginning ASAP and continuing through January 2027, with potential for extension based on performance and the needs of the business. The typical schedule is 1–2 days per week, including Sundays and one additional weekday. During January and February 2027, additional coverage may be needed.Candidates must have open availability to support changing business needs, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Duties Include:Support back-of-house operations, including receiving and processing shipments, organizing the stockroom, replenishing merchandise, and preparing products for the sales floor.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom and assist with general store upkeep.Prepare merchandise for the sales floor by steaming, folding, hanging, and removing packaging as needed.Retrieve merchandise, additional sizes, and products for client appointments and sales associates.Assist with setting up fitting rooms and returning merchandise to the stockroom.Provide sales floor coverage as needed, including greeting clients and supporting the overall shopping experience.Assist sales associates with wrapping purchases and preparing client transactions.Offer refreshments to clients, including coffee and water, while maintaining a polished and welcoming environment.Adapt to changing priorities and provide reliable support to the store team during breaks, busy periods, and vacation coverage.Additional duties as needed and assigned.
Job Qualifications Include:2+ years of back-of-house retail experience, preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment.Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.A reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality.Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing needs, and confidently support both stockroom operations and customer-facing responsibilities.Comfortable assisting with basic sales support, including greeting clients, gift wrapping, and point-of-sale support as needed.Ability to commute reliably to the assigned location in downtown Chicago. Parking is not reimbursedAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for the duration of the shift.Must successfully pass a background check before starting.
Pay: $20–$22 per hour
