Job Summary/About the Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst II with 4–6 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Power BI, SQL, Python, and Azure , along with exposure to the insurance domain . This role involves building dashboards, analysing data, and supporting senior analysts and business stakeholders in driving data-driven decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics,

• Experience: 4–6 years in data analytics, BI development, or related roles.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query).
• Solid SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
• Working knowledge of Python for analytics and automation.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.

• Domain Knowledge: Exposure to insurance industry processes and KPIs.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Reporting

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business needs.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency in reporting.

Technical Skills

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Use Python for data cleaning, automation, and analysis tasks.
• Work with Azure services (Data Factory, SQL Database, Synapse) for cloud-based data solutions.

Domain Expertise

• Apply knowledge of the insurance domain to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into analytical solutions.

Collaboration

• Work closely with senior analysts and developers to deliver projects on time.
• Support cross-functional teams with ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to documentation, best practices, and process improvements.
