Junior Project Manager – Commercial Interiors

Location: DLF Phase 2, Sector 25, Gurugram

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Project Manager with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day project execution, contractor and vendor coordination, client handling, project planning, site management, and timely project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage commercial interior fit-out projects from site mobilization through final handover.

• Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, and daily site activities.

• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

• Monitor daily site progress, workmanship, safety, and material requirements.

• Coordinate civil, electrical, HVAC, MEP, furniture, joinery, false ceiling, flooring, and finishing works.

• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely execution.

• Check BOQs, measurements, contractor bills, and variation requirements.

• Conduct regular site meetings and provide project progress updates.

• Identify site issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.

• Maintain project documentation, site reports, measurements, and progress records.

• Coordinate snagging, rectification, and final project handover.

• Manage multiple project activities/sites when required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of total professional experience.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Commercial Interior Fit-Out Projects.

• Strong hands-on experience in commercial interior site execution.

• Experience in contractor and vendor coordination.

• Good understanding of BOQs, measurements, billing, material planning, and project documentation.

• Experience coordinating civil, MEP, HVAC, electrical, furniture, joinery, and finishing works.

• Good client coordination and communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and site-management abilities.

• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

• Must be located within commuting distance of Gurugram, Haryana.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial interior fit-out projects and be capable of independently managing day-to-day site execution, contractor coordination, vendor coordination, and client communication.

NOT SUITABLE

• Candidates with more than 5 years of total experience.

• Candidates with only residential interior experience.

• Candidates from general civil construction without significant commercial interior fit-out experience.

• Candidates with less than 3 years of relevant experience.

• Freshers.
