Quality Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Quality Group Leader to join our growing team! This leadership role oversees a small Quality Assurance team (1-3 Inspectors) while ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our manufacturing operations. Job ResponsibilitiesLead and support a team of QA Inspectors.Perform and oversee receiving, in-process, and final inspections.Review customer quality requirements, including FAI, PPAP, traceability, and quality documentation.Maintain Aerospace & Defense customer portals and quality records.Create and manage quality procedures, inspection plans, and work instructions.Generate Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and nonconformance reports.Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality concerns.Schedule source inspections and monitor vendor performance.Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and customer specifications.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of quality experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.Strong understanding of AS9100 requirements.Experience interpreting engineering drawings and using precision measuring equipment.Knowledge of calibration, inspection methods, and quality documentation.Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and perform detailed visual inspections.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $40.00 - $50.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
