Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a Budgeting and Reporting Manager to join its growing finance and accounting team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong foundation in public accounting or industry accounting who is looking to make a meaningful impact through financial reporting, analysis, process improvement, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making
• Perform variance analysis and explain significant fluctuations in financial results
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Maintain and enhance complex Excel-based financial models and reporting files
• Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Mentor, train, and develop accounting staff while helping drive team performance
• Partner with leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred
• Approximately 5+ years of accounting experience
• Prior supervisory experience preferred, including managing, mentoring, training, or developing staff
• Strong Senior Accountants who have demonstrated leadership potential and team development experience are encouraged to apply
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
