Responsibilities:
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. Qualifications:Education
- Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Required
Work Experience
- No experience required
- Must have and demonstrate a strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Must be able to perform quality Ultrasound examinations in accordance with all Piedmont and ACR standard
Licenses and Certifications
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
