Reinsurance Underwriting & Placement – Delhi

Location: Delhi

Experience: 2–8 years

Role Overview:

We are looking for a professional with experience in Reinsurance Underwriting & Placement to manage day-to-day reinsurance activities, including risk assessment, placement, negotiations, documentation and coordination with clients, insurers and reinsurers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle reinsurance underwriting and placement activities across relevant lines of business.
• Review submissions, assess risks and support underwriting decisions.
• Coordinate with cedants, brokers and reinsurers for quotations and placements.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, limits and conditions with reinsurers.
• Manage policy documentation, renewals, endorsements and other operational activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers and business partners.
• Ensure timely closure of placements and accurate documentation.
• Support the team in developing new business and servicing existing accounts.

Ideal Candidate:

• 2–8 years of experience in Reinsurance Underwriting, Placement or Broking .
• Good understanding of reinsurance products, terms and processes.
• Strong negotiation, coordination and communication skills.
• Experience in both placement and operational aspects of reinsurance will be preferred.
• Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Delhi .
