About the OpportunityInnovar Group is recruiting for a Quality Control Manager to join a growing manufacturer of innovative power generation and industrial energy solutions.This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys working directly with suppliers, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and driving improvements across the supply chain.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in supplier quality, manufacturing quality systems, and industrial equipment, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and external vendor teams.
What You'll DoManage and improve the external supplier Quality Management System (QMS).Evaluate, qualify, and monitor suppliers to ensure consistent product quality.Conduct supplier audits, testing, and site visits.Lead investigations into supplier nonconformances, root cause analysis, and corrective actions (SCAR).Develop quality control plans and improve manufacturing processes.Review engineering drawings, specifications, and electrical/control schematics.Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
What You Bring5–8 years of manufacturing quality experience preferred, ideally involving external suppliers.Degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), supplier quality, and corrective actions.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical/control schematics.Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.Willingness to work onsite in Centennial, CO and travel up to 50%.
Preferred BackgroundTurbomachinery, power generation, rotating equipment, or heavy industrial equipment manufacturing.Supplier qualification, supplier audits, and supplier development.Root Cause Analysis, SCAR, and manufacturing process improvement.Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).ERP Syteline experience and formal quality training.
