Job Description
We are hiring: Senior ATE Board / Layout Designer
S. A. S Advanced Technologies is looking for an experienced Board / PCB Layout Designer with deep hands-on experience in semiconductor test hardware.
This is a senior position.
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of practical experience designing complex ATE boards and a strong understanding of how the semiconductor test industry actually works.
Required experience:
Minimum 5 years in ATE board design / PCB layout Hands-on experience with Advantest platforms, including T2000 and/or V93000 Hands-on experience with Teradyne Ultra FLEX Strong experience with Load Boards, DUT Boards, Probe Cards and high-density test interfaces Excellent understanding of high-speed PCB layout, stackup, impedance control, return paths, power distribution and routing constraints Ability to understand tester architecture and translate tester and device requirements into a manufacturable board design Experience working with SI/PI engineers, mechanical engineers, PCB manufacturers and assembly houses Strong understanding of semiconductor test flows, production requirements and customer expectations Ability to review specifications, identify missing information and raise technical risks before layout startsWe are not looking for someone who only knows how to operate a CAD tool.
We want someone who understands the tester, the device, the application and the manufacturing environment.
Someone who can look at a new requirement and understand what matters, what is missing, what can fail and what questions need to be asked before the design starts.
