Role Description The Commercial Head – Ocean Imports (Freight Forwarding) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role oversees commercial strategy and pricing for ocean import operations, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth across key trade lanes. The position includes leading and mentoring commercial and pricing teams, developing business plans, and negotiating rates and contracts with shipping lines, overseas partners, and key customers. The role involves monitoring market trends, analyzing performance data, and optimizing margins while maintaining competitive offerings. The Commercial Head will collaborate closely with operations, finance, and leadership teams to align commercial decisions with organizational goals and customer requirements.
