About The Art Container The Art Container is a fast-growing Architecture and interior design and execution firm specializing in premium residential and commercial interiors. We are building a strong leadership team and are looking for a Senior Interior Designer who can take complete ownership of projects, clients, and teams.
This is not a drafting-only or software-focused role. We are looking for a professional who can independently manage projects and represent the company with confidence.
Role Overview The ideal candidate should be capable of handling projects from concept to execution while leading junior designers, coordinating with site teams, and managing client communication.
We are looking for someone who can function as an extension of the founder and take ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities Client Management Lead client meetings and project discussions independently.
Understand client requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.
Build strong client relationships and maintain professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide timely updates and resolve project-related concerns proactively.
Design Development Develop design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and presentations.
Prepare and review detailed working drawings, GFC drawings, and execution drawings.
Ensure designs are practical, technically accurate, and execution-friendly.
Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and contractors.
Project Execution Manage projects from design approval to final handover.
Conduct site visits and coordinate with execution teams.
Resolve site challenges and technical issues effectively.
Ensure projects are delivered within timelines and quality standards.
Team Leadership Guide and mentor junior designers.
Review drawings and design outputs before client submissions.
Allocate work and monitor project progress.
Help build systems, processes, and design standards within the company.
Mandatory Skills Technical Skills Strong Auto CAD knowledge.
Strong working drawing and technical detailing skills.
Good Sketch Up proficiency.
Good rendering skills using Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion, or similar software.
Strong material and execution knowledge.
Leadership & Communication Excellent client communication and presentation skills.
Ability to independently handle projects and take decisions.
Strong team management and mentoring capabilities.
High level of ownership and accountability.
