Role Description The Project Manager Highway is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing highway construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with site teams, contractors, and suppliers; monitoring project progress; managing resources and logistics; and addressing issues that may affect timelines or quality. The role also involves conducting site inspections, reviewing technical documentation, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager Highway will work closely with management and stakeholders to communicate project status, mitigate risks, and support decision-making.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in Project Management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of construction or infrastructure projects. Hands-on skills in Expediting and Expeditor-related activities to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services. Knowledge of Inspection procedures and quality control standards for highway or civil construction work. Competence in Logistics Management to coordinate site resources, transportation, and supply chain activities. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders. Proficiency in project management and office software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Word) and familiarity with relevant standards and regulations. Ability to work on-site in Rajkot, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a focus on safety and compliance.
